From folding @home for part of yesterday and last night. I’m back up and running now though. Had to shut off power for a couple of hours to do some electrical work around the house and the house is wired terribly.
I will also be down on one of my machines for a couple of hours tomorrow while upgrading my CPU, and adding in a GTX 970 until I get my 2080 Ti.

Shitballs! Adding a 2080 Ti and you’ll probably overtake me a few days after that.
I’m only generating a couple hundred thousand more points than you at my full steam, adding that card and I’ll be eating your dust shortly!

I have a GTX 1660 Ti and it does about 80,000 points a day if it gets gpu work units consisently and I let it run at full. It only sounds like a cesna taking off when it gets a new WU.

Whoa, a 2080Ti! Nice, I couldn’t justify the extra $500 so went with a 2080 Super Black from EVGA. It will be here tomorrow!

I had to manually set my GPU to start work units.
If you open Advanced Control on the client application, then “C onfigure” -> “Slots” -> “Add”, then click the GPU radar button and save. My GTX 1660 is capable of earning about 20x as many points as my CPU alone.
If you can’t find the settings, a quick Google check should help. It’s what I had to do the other day.

Hmmm. Maybe I’m far less proficient at explaining than I thought. Here’s some pictures that might help.
I also had to update my GeForce drivers before it started working correctly for some reason. Oh, and in the Extra slot options on the last screen, I had to manually Add “idle: False”.
In my research, it seemed like some people had to manually change their “gpu-index” value. Leaving it at -1 worked fine for me though.

You’ll know if it worked if on the main screen of the client application, you should have two items on “Folding Slotrs” and “W ork Queue”

I’m sure I will regret it later when Nvidia and AMd update their GPU lineup, but I figure it will be worth at least what I paid for this one then, I got a good deal.

We will see, I haven’t been getting the points I should be getting daily anyway. My PPD for my 1080 Ti hovers around 1.6-1.9 million PPD and I’m barely hitting 1.2-1.7 with both my 1080 Ti and my 1660 Ti running.
